On the grounds of this sprawling hillside temple complex northwest of the castle, 176 steps lined with hundreds of lanterns lead to the mausoleum of Kat¨­ Kiyomasa (¼ÓÌÙÇåÕý¹«¤ÎĹ; 1562¨C1611), »å²¹¾±³¾²â¨­ and architect of °­³Ü³¾²¹³¾´Ç³Ù´Ç-Âᨭ. The mausoleum was designed at the same height as the castle's ³Ù±ð²Ô²õ³ó¨±°ì²¹°ì³Ü (central tower). A treasure house exhibits Kiyomasa's crown and other personal items.
